This is one of our favorite books on Agile. It is well written, easy to understand, and timeless. Jim Highsmith's text is a must read for anyone trying to understand the working of agile project management. Although is dives into many of the details that most executives do not need to know in their day-to-day work, the way in which Mr. Highsmith does it, gives the executive or mid-level manager a good foundation to understand where agile should be applied.
This version provides best practices for managing projects in agile environments and is now updated with new techniques for larger projects (a weak point of agile).
