As mentioned numerous times throughout Rescue the Problem Project, great communication is paramount. That does not always take the form of written and spoken word. Communication is often better and easier through graphics and illustrations. The old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words is actually quite conservative. When working with executives and management they do not have the time read all the details. With a little creativity, imagination, and a few templates you can start think is a pictographic way. This zip file contains a number of examples, many used in the book to help fuel your imagination.
This file contains:
- A PowerPoint and accompanying Excel file to create an informative 4-Up slide/
- A timebase headcount graphic to show human resource requirements on the project.
- The software adoption tool that was illustrated in Case Study 11-3, which also as a adoption lifecycle chart.
